27.516 gal for $30.24
« on: July 27, 2020, 07:10:31 PM »
Fueled my "Chevrolet" F-150 today....prices (with grocery card) are staying pretty low during this pandemic.
don't do a heck of a lot of driving in the Chevy , but averages about a dollar per day. (I fill once a month)
14 yrs old, 55,000 miles. Toyed with the idea of changing the plugs on it, but can only see 4 of the 6. Air filter and battery were an easy change. Gets reg dealer oil & filter changes. Blew all the brake lines backing from my driveway - thank you God, $800 for the 'line kit' installed.
Long* bed, cap and g r e a t  A/C buddy, rubber floors, DRL's, cloth bench seats and a killer standard radio w/4 speakers, manual windows = a perfect American truck.

Stig

*"long bed"....sounds silly. Has the normal 8' truck bed, like a p/u truck is supposed to have.

Just turned over 200k on my trusty long bed crew cab last winter, now with scooter retrieval in distant lands 208k miles and counting. Truck is complete with manual transmission and windows of the 2000 vintage. . I didn't even consider doing plugs myself and had all ten with new coil pacs changed at 150k miles.
