Lots of money into engine. Then crashed Th w bike!!!!!
« on: July 29, 2020, 06:31:03 AM »
Hey guys. I have a 2002 super nine. Put a ton of money into the engine. All the frills bells and whistle’s and of course being the moron I am hit a median. And then… A cart wheel situation and the bike is all over the place.

Looking at national for sale and there are no more. So what do I do with the engine? Just call it  a loss?

I have a 2002 people 50. And I’m really bummed because so much energy and money went into the engine.

Will it fit other Kimco bikes? Should I try to repair the super nine? I don’t care about the plastic and it’s really just a set of forks and Everything up front.

Please please any advice thanks

The only advice I would have is keep on the lookout for a used super 9 that's a non-runner for cheap on CL and use yours for a parts bike.  Being a 2002 it won't have much value.  Don't know what engines will interchange.

How did you hit a median?
In parts 200S and Grand Vista and my motorcycles 2 CS BMW'S and one GS BMW.

Sold-32 Kymco scooters of various sizes this summer.

Most 50cc Kymcos are Chinese made, and the engines (both 2-stroke & 4-stroke) are interchangeable with almost all Chinese mail-order scooters.  A little sleuthing around should turn up some compatible swaps.
