my coffee village taking more steps regarding the pandemic
« on: August 09, 2020, 04:03:55 PM »
Yesterday...

My coffee village was the first community in Ohio to mandate masks a few weeks ago.
Hand cleaner stations are scattered up the sidewalk; placards, banners, store signs, floor & sidewalk signs are all over town.
And coming into town on the highway I discovered this - leaving visitors in no doubt  that the village is serious.

Not sure how long this has been in place - as I always take a back roads route to town.

Here mask are required if you can't social distance.  Went to the city building (mask required to enter) they enter your contact information into a log and record your temperature.  Once inside if you can social distance you can remove your mask until you get ready to exit then your required to wear it.
In parts 200S and Grand Vista and my motorcycles 2 CS BMW'S and one GS BMW.

Sold-32 Kymco scooters of various sizes this summer.

Yes because you enter a hallway where you can't social distance to leave the building.

my town just reopened for business as usual, after 5 months of remote board meetings, if you can't do your business on line, passing an envelop thru a drawer into the town clerks office,  meanwhile, the supermarket I shop at, has started enforcing masks, they give ya one if you don't have one.

There are some people around here where wearing a mask is a blessing for the rest of us. It's got nothing to do with C19. They're just ugly mofos.

For no longer then I'm in a business wearing a mask is no big deal. If I had to wear one for 8 hrs I don't think I could do it.

In the UK a 'mask' is loosely defined as a 'face covering'. This means you can regress to your childhood and pretend you're Jesse James.

My wife and daughter wear one all day at work.
Wife - Dr's office.
Daughter - dept. store. (thankfully the store finally mandated it for all customers too - as maybe 15% were wearing them prior to this. Store has a "greeter" at the door - to enforce the rule.

In California no less I seen a picture of a guy in a store wearing a KKK hood for a mask.  Depending on the neighborhood it could be more lethal then covid 19.
A year ago if you wore a mask they would probably not allow you in a store, now if you don't wear a mask they probably won't let you into a store .

My wife works part time and instead of a face mask she wears a full, clear plastic face shield at work. Less hot and foggy and doesn’t fog up her glasses like a mask does!

This is the case with most servers at food outlets over here in the UK.
