Saw a street person very well bundled this morning sleeping against the base of a building.....with a large golf umbrella angled over them as a partial tent.

It was in the high 40's 2 nights ago.
50's last night.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Yesterday it was 82° while I was out riding here in Estes Park, CO.  Currently it is 32° and temperature is falling.  With snow.  And the Cameron Peak fire ablaze.

Still hot out here except today, there is slight relief from the wild fire smoke.

There's an old saying here in England, "If you don't like the weather, stick around 5 minutes, it'll change!"  Over the water in Ireland it's "If you can see the mountains of Mourne it's gonna rain.  If you can't see the Mountains of Mourne, it's already raining!"
Regards & ride safe,
Neil

certainly is, if you're not prepared,  that particular day, I remember lot of snow melting, but ground still frozen, to it runs off instead of soaks in, flooding, ice jams, 100° was exceptional, but we routinely have 75° of warming on a winter day,   perfect sugaring season weather is 28 at night and 38 in day, if we have 6 weeks of it, maple syrup yield will be exceptional, but that never happens, a week of good weather, then back to winter, once buds pop, it's over

I have also seen 50° temp diff going up the Mt Washington Auto Road, calm and 85° st base, and 35° at top, with 75mph wind, suppose to be one of the most extreme weather locations on earth https://www.mountwashington.org/
