I usually don't give much attention to Chinese scooters but a new company is trying to establish a dealer network in the US with high quality Chinese scooters (oxymoron) ?  I read the review in (adventure rider) .  Seen them on ebay for $2400. for a 150cc machine that looks like a copy of a Kymco.

Not seen those before, but took a look after reading this KK.  Not available in the UK yet as far as I can see, but as you say, the design is very derivative.  I’ll stick with my Kymco for now.

Obviously I will too, Kymco has a history with a fair parts distribution network (depending on where you live).  Even if these are good quality lack of sales they could be gone from the US in a couple of years.  Some neat features such as remote start and alarm system and built in radio. 150cc might be a little lacking for such a big bike. I beleive I read 10hp and 13.1 NM torque motor.

The article by Adventure Rider went on to say there are 3 grades of parts coming out of China, low which most cheap scooters are made from to control price, middle and high end. Supposedly this scooter uses high end components which would be different then the cheap crap they flood the market with.

I would like to ride one out of curiosity.

Yes me too. I’d always have a go, just to see, but I fancy you’re right about the power, 150cc just wouldn’t do much for a full size maxi scoot. I see they have a 150 Vespa lookalike in the line up though?...

Quite heavy for 150 cc. The Executive maxi-style with windscreen tips the scale at 390 POUNDS as does the Rukus-looking matte olive machine. That if correct is nearly as heavy as the DT300i !

With that kind of corporate thinking - the owner's manual promises to be a wonderfully entertaining read.

Probably in Braille with informative information such as don't check gas level with matches.

You could buy a new Kymco 150  for that price and the 163 for not much more .
