2013 uxv500i clutch
« on: September 27, 2020, 03:20:17 PM »
I am looking to upgrade to clutch on my 500. It seems to have lack of power in the low end. I am having trouble finding a company that has any aftermarket springs or clutch kits for the 2013 500. I can find tem for the older models. Has anyone here modified the clutch or found a kit for one.
Thanks

While they may not have a kit, will they or others rebuild your existing clutch?  I read some place there are companies that will rebuild your but offer no kits.

Yamaha rhino 660 parts work in the clutch. Current set up for my 2013 is JBS 14g OD weights and EPI purple spring. Great response in the trail but only 42-43 mph top end. I will be changing back to the EPI white spring as I was running 47-48mph with that during testing. I'm told the real sweet spot is a combo of 12-14g OD weights.

Definately 14g OD weights and EPI white spring! Very strong trail response and topend improvement!
