Americans got the better LIBERTY IMHO
« on: September 30, 2020, 05:22:13 PM »

The non N.American version of the Piaggio Liberty have a pair of clear lenses flanking the center brake light. The outer two lights are turn signals.

The US version Liberty has red lenses there - and those two bulbs are wired to work as two extra brake lights!

Since 2013 my every scooter ride starts in the dark, sometimes raining and often foggy* - so I really like that this scooter has a larger area of 3 brake lights back there!
I've never had a problem with the appearance of the added turn signal pods on bikes or scooters. Actually, I think the pods are more effective.

*which is why my 2nd modification to my scooters (Burgman, Forza, LIKE & Liberty) is to improve on even very good rear lighting! The first was always to address the mirror situation!

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Certainly can’t hurt in the drive to avoid being tailgated!
