Open seat with dead battery
« on: October 06, 2020, 03:39:19 PM »
I can jack up the front of the entire seat (and see the battery and carb). The battery seems pretty dead. Any options here?

Your seat opens mechanically just like a 2013 People GTi300. The latch is NOT electric. Besides, isnt the battery under the floorboard?

I fortunately could jack up the front of the seat. I undid one bolt holding the rear latch to the frame. I rotated the entire seat and the cable was clearly exposed to tap with a drift.

If the front were bolted down (It does get bolted, right?), I don't know what I could have done.

The front is the hinge and should be bolted!
