I use the tire recommended pressure (not the max load pressure of 41psi) with the power pures as the bike's 17psi spec on the front tire is way to wallowy when diving in. Currently running 32 rear and 28 front. The pressure is simply to maintain a constant rate of elastic deformation. Higher load=higher pressure. On new low wear asphalt I run a higher pressure than I do on rotten asphalt/gravel. Starting my two wheel journey on a sprint bike where every loss is considered no matter how minimal, probably makes me a little pickier.

After more than month with Heidenau Tires, fresh, F & R----they really have changed my XTown from foul handling pig----to sweet gliding, nice handling/secure in corners wet land dry, just nice.   As high milage/long time rider I appreciate this-----only problem with nice handling bike.....you might get in over your head.....and lose traction!!

What ever extra these tires cost=well worth it!
That last sentence John. My thoughts exactly!

Out last night on dark greasy roads, but with my City Grip 2’s, never a moment.

Never underestimate the entertainment value of wet riding on cheap tires😊
Kinda like a county fair thrill ride, but with road rash.
Even my LIKE200iLX scooter salesman advised shedding the Kendas with my next paycheck! "Look at tires called, City Grips, if you're using this scooter for all-weather work commuting."

Careful....if a coffee or donut shop ain't open early hours - you risk getting picked up for simple vagrancy or attempted loafing.
Check shop hours to be safe.
I do a swell undetected loaf since retirement. Ask my daughter.

That took a moment Stig, I was thinking bread  ;)

Yes, I too, have the undetected loaf off to a fine art as well these days!
