Poll

What would you do?

Keep it, because it’s cool
Sell it to the lowest bidder just to get it gone
Fix it up and keep it (muuuch repair/$ needed)
Disassemble it and sell it for parts
Buy a new 200i & use for spare parts

Stolen & Trashed
« on: October 21, 2020, 04:35:31 PM »
Hey everyone!  My 2012 200i was stolen by a meth addict, dumped in the woods, body panels removed, exhaust drilled to sound cool, and is beat to heck.

Any ideas on selling it for parts vs selling it dirt cheap, or just scrapping it?  What would you do?

So sorry to hear this! Same happened to me in 2016 with a DT300i. There is a 'For Sale' section on this forum and plenty of Like 200i owners!

We had Benny Hill here for many years, did you get Laugh-in? Joann Worley was a ding-dong comedienne who always asked, "Is that a chicken joke?!" I can hear her asking of the term 'scrote' "Is that a British joke?!"

Rowan & Martin's Laugh In?  Yes, we got that over here.

"Scrote" is a common term over here for any criminal low-life and I suspect it's a contraction of scrotum.

Throttle body with attached ECU is a valuable part - if it can be proven to be not damaged.
Seat-pan is sought by those who will rebuild the LIKE seat.....but must not be damaged.
