Looks nice .
Might scrub the Armorall off the tires!
Not Italian - made in Piaggio's Vietnam plant pretty sure - which probably is a good thing.
Best part of that price is NO dealer fees added to it!

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Yeah, some there,  some Asia. No idea when/why they switched over. I hear that some Honda PCX are assembled in Italy.
Strange old world anymore.
When I climbed on that Flying Tigers plane at Bien Hoa airbase - wouldn't have imagined I'd ever own a vehicle made in that place😊

It wasn't that long ago that you watched the Vietnam  war on tv, Now the same people in Vietnam embrace capitalism and the American people even under a communist regime.  Asian people are smart they see how prosperous South Korea has become.  I believe KIA is on it's way to becoming the largest car company in the world.  They hire some of the best people like the head of BMW'S head of the M division . Watched a program on Kia and 74 cars a hour roll off the assembly lines.  They produce over a million car engines a year.

Even BMW uses Kymco for manufacturing,  the Rotax engine in my BMW GS was made by Kymco.  The one in my earlier BMW CS was made in Germany .

KIA and Kymco QC are top notch! We have had three KIA's and all been great. We had a Chevy Spark made by Daewoo in South Korea and I thought it was pretty decent for what it was until the head gasket started to leak oil and coolant at less than 20000 miles. Dealer techs said it was not leakinh anything so I turned it back in. Like Suzuki making cars for GM, the "genius" at GM made them cut too many corners and ruin the product. Techs can't make any money on head gaskets so they say there is no problem. Sorta like KUSA these days...
