Best placement for alarm sensor.
« on: December 28, 2020, 03:47:26 AM »
Hello everybody

I just recently purchased a new alarm system for my scooter the other one that I had was not going off. The unit I purchased runs off of the 12 volt battery on the scooter but I have decided to run it off the nine volt backup battery my question is what is the best placement for the shock sensor? I have it mounted currently in front of the scooter under the headlights.

I never installed an alarm system on a scooter or motorcycle. What normally activates these alarms ?

the Sensor is contained in the " Brain" of the alarm. My question is would it be more benificial to mount it to the frame of the bike as opposed to mounting to a piece of plastic paneling.
