yes, good looking installation! Do hand guards also make big difference? Do they make hand guards for scooters...or are they all just universal?

The finished article.  Quite a neat location for the controller I thought?  Rode out using them today and in a cool, damp 7c on 50% my digits were toasty!  Think I am really going to get my moneys-worth out of this investment  :)

Oxford seems to make pretty good stuff.
Quality of the Oxford hi-viz rain over-jacket I bought from revzilla impressed me.
Well done you on the heated grips.
Just tell your mates that's the controller for a Police radar defeater -  so they don't think you a wimp.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Thanks for the suggestion Stig, but I think like you, I long ago gave up giving a flying one over what others think! I’ll admit to wanting comfort now. As I’ve mentioned before, my endurance days of motorcycling 365 in all weathers are behind me!

I've used peer pressure to keep my daughter in line when she was younger:

"....if you don't - I swear - I'm going to take you to school on the scooter!"
and "......just imagine what the helmet is going to do to your hair!"

I once showed up to watch her home soccer game....on my scooter.
Actually, the girls thought my LIKE200i was "cool & very you're a peeing!"

JJJoseph, you do realise there's likely some dodgy tickers on this forum?...

Celebrated one year ownership by pushing scooter to warm garage for 24h for melt. Now fired it up after 17 days standing between -7 and -20 c, and after six short period starts few minutes, got sucked enough gas to carburetor to run as usual. Full tank small engine gas makes the difference. Ran half an hour still 2000-5000 rpm to load the battery full, I guess its enough. 30 cm snow and -13c stopped driving around the corner before it started.
Next start after two weeks max.
Seeking used Kymco moped scooter

Riding my X-Town! It was 0c here today, but the roads were dry and the sun had got his hat on. 15 mile trip with heated grips @50% = enjoyable ride.

I now need to rewrite my rule of thumb temps for when and how far I can ride.
