Yeah, I hit my knee on the ignition key and bent the damn thing.

So you see Rianna, being tall and riding a scooter has its issues too!

I have to sit way up on the slope at the front of the seat since I'm short so I have hit the handlebars and key as well. I feel for ya there! I guess it's hard to find a comfortable position on these scoots. Maybe we all supposed to be around 5' 8" - 5' 10".  :D

I do wonder about the floorboard on that Super 9. The floorboard looks to sit a little lower than the frame with a cutout section for your feet on each side. Looks more comfortable. It may not actually be lower, but it looks that way.

Love those highway bars, conley!

I guess you just have to sit on the scoot to see how it fits.  That's something I would want to check out on any new scoot I would buy.

But yeah, hitting your knee on the handlebar during a low-speed turn - done that too and not a good situation.

..it's why i generally ride with my feet on the rear "pegs"...

..scoot handles better that way as well...

Well I'll confess to having never tried that.

If I had more energy I'd go for a ride now a try it!  Maybe tomorrow.

...really does handle better...

 :o

..brings you and the scoot's center of gravity toward the rear a bit...

 ;)

..better balance, in my opinion...

It will be an interesting change - I've gotten so used to riding with me feet on the floor area that I can actually balance the scoot at stop signs without putting my foot down.

I do my patented 'hang stop' where I slow down and then come to a very brief stop while checking for traffic and then get moving again.  Unless, of course, I see a PD officer sitting up the street watching the stops signs (something they do every so often).
