I don't have that happen any more - that was when I was learning about the cold weather tendencies of the scoot. 

Now I know to warm that sucker up when it gets cold and she runs fine.

Although today I found that warming it up has become a bit of a challenge. 

With the stock OEM tires I could just start the scoot up on the center stand and let the rear wheel spin merrily around while it warmed up. 

With the new tire, the rear wheel is on the ground when the scoot is on center stand.  So once she got running at a good rpm after I started it this morning the scooter was getting pitched forward and backward on the center stand.

Not sure what to do about that

..i welded 1 inch long pieces of 1" X 1" X 1/8" thick square tubing to the feet of my center stand...

Hmmmm.  That is a really good solution.

Unfortunately I don't weld and don't know anyone who does.  Maybe I can track someone down.

Meantime I'll probably just have to get a piece of plywood or something under the stand to give it some height.

No doubt he can weld...and has welding equipment.

..any metal fab or welding shop could do it in 15 minutes...

i love these things so much more comfortable now just need a back rest

also put some saddle bags on as a joke but hell they work great

think i mount some lights under them this weekend

cant see much at night

it took me like two hours to fab them and brakets and all

first design was to weak but now i can stand on them and they wont budge

i might change the bars though dont look right there stainless steel cabinet legs

are theam highway bars welded on or with bolts.

ihad to make a bracket that i welded but its bolted in 3 places on the frame

and the pegs bollt in on the bracket
