Just in time, for record cold.
« on: February 21, 2021, 11:40:24 PM »
A couple of weeks ago I purchased a Burgman 400 and made a road trip to Denver to pick it up between the cold/snow.  I got back everything was covered with salt.  Washed everything the next day and took the Iceberg 400 in the following week for VIN inspection. Got insurance and went to the tag dept with paperwork  (and they do like their paperwork ). Completed mission and was back home with the Iceberg 400 tucked away in the garage.

Following day was the start of 2 weeks of bitter cold weather. We had windchills down to -29F (-33.9C).  In the midst of the bitter cold my tag for the Iceberg 400 arrived in the mail in 6 days, a new record on promptness.
In parts 200S and Grand Vista and my motorcycles 2 CS BMW'S and one GS BMW.

Sold-32 Kymco scooters of various sizes this summer.

A new Burgman? Wow, how many scoots does that make for you, now? Are you planning on keeping all your scoots or flipping any?

I would love to have a lot of different bikes but as it is I have a hard enough time putting enough miles on just my Kymco scoot and my little Ninja.

I’m with you Hawk, a scoot and bike is now more than enough for me. In fact miles total on the bike this last year has been pathetic!

Could we get photos of each new acquisition? Always interested is seeing pics of Burgman 400s!
It was a picturesque scooter, sometimes......often.

No, not a new Burgman  a 2011 Burgman 400 with 11,800 miles .

This scooter is far from pristine. This Iceberg was bought and serviced at the same location by one owner. This scooter has never seen a garage and spent it's life in the sun baking away.  Mechanical the scooter is good with new tires and battery. Cosmetically the scooter needs some TLC.

here is a picture of Kansas Kymco's Iceburg 400. It actually looks pretty good. I'd like to hear more about the scoot once everything thaws out!
