Also, hope your new scoot comes in soon. When I look for bikes, I always like to see what's in stock within a reasonable distance from my house. I think I would gladly drive 100, maybe 200, miles to get the bike I wanted from a dealer who had it in stock rather than order and wait indefinitely. Of course, if you need service down the road, it's always nice to work with the dealer who sold you the bike. But then again, if a local dealer sells whatever brand you have, they ought to be happy enough to handle whatever you need. Probably the case when you're paying, but my guess is that dealers probably don't like handling warranty work on bikes bought "out of town."
