Will Stig's LIKE200ILX start?
« on: March 18, 2021, 11:30:20 AM »
Rode out this morning in a driving rain storm.
Only thing I was wondering about is...will this 9 yr old scooter start when I get ready to go home?
We were practically under water most times....and it's pouring on it as I sit here.
Use cell towers to look for me if I ain't home by dinner. ..

I'm thinking I might stop testing ourselves like this....

Oh yee of little faith....
Started right up - and perfect idle...nice and strong (which is what you want to hear on a day like this!)

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Kymco = super reliable.

You choose to set off in weather like that Tom?  You are one glutton for punishment.  If I get caught out in a downpour that's one thing, but to set off in one?  Not me bud!

Unless (and this does occasionally happen), I need to be somewhere and the wife has gone off somewhere in her car.  Now we only have one car, (daughter commutes in hers) I'm left with zero choice!
Regards & ride safe,
Neil

I thought I'd do a rain-tire test.
Yep - Michelins make it rain! :)

Then tested the tail lights....

So, time for a hot cup o' joe.
