All right guys, giving you this post BECAUSE YOU ASKED FOR IT! Again, not a Kymco, so my apologies to anyone who feels baited and switched here, but lots of the guys on this forum say without Honda, there never would have been Kymco. So, without further ado, here are some pics of my new 2021 Honda ADV 150. Picked her up Friday from a dealer in Massachusetts and trailered her home to Pennsylvania on Saturday. Got home in enough time on Saturday to enjoy a couple hours out and about getting a feel for her. Put on about 25 miles and enjoyed getting to know the machine a bit. FWIW, my first impressions are very good. A very smooth machine will good power and nimble handling. Acceleration is good off the line, a bit weak from say 20-35 mph but she really pulls like a horse from 35-55. Had it up to 61 -- briefly -- and let off the throttle at that point because the front end started to feel a bit lighter to me. That's probably normal for two-wheeled vehicles, but being my first time out, I did not feel the need to push it. Besides, I don't want to push the engine too much until I get through the 300-mile break-in period.
Photos below show a few pics from my first ride. Oh, and BTW, I purchased the bike sight unseen over the phone. Dealer mailed me documents to sign and send back and when I showed up to get it, they had the bike all ready to go and a nice little folder with all my paperwork. Very smooth process.
