Oil Filter for AK 550

Cross references says it fits. But reviews of the filter recommend the 160 if it will fit. This is just me reading and I don't know for a fact. I've just been researching in preparation for my purchase.
Stock length is 65mm but the 160 is 71mm.

I called K&N Yesterday. The lady that I talked to would not accept that the K&N 164 oil filter would be for the 2021 KYMCO AK550. She said if I used it , they did not recommend it.

My AK550 came with the Hifiltro HF164 installed. It seems like that is the OEM oil filter. At least in North America. Easy to get on Amazon. The same filter works on many BMW bikes.

I would stick with HiFiltro. Even if the K&N fits, I've read that K&N may not function like an OEM. I don't recall what spec makes the difference. Something to do with the flow pressure rating. You may want to do some research.
