Lowe's delivered a new range....

Truck showed up this morning, nearly on time.
Nice couple of fellows hauled out our old range, brought in the new one. Used carrying straps.
I asked won't your boss buy you a hand cart?
"No, better to carry - keep rugs nice!"
OK, cool.

Email said range was coming from a distant city, not from our local Lowe's.
So, you guys are from Dayton?
A stare...."No, Nicaragua."

No, your truck.
"No, truck is rented from Tennessee."

No, the new range is from where?
"I don't know - maybe China?"

OK.
Good talk. Tipped 'em 20 bucks for being careful.

I bought a refrigerator from Lowes, back in December, the same guys from Nicaragua delivered it, same straps, they had it plugged in and running, in less than 5 minutes, but maybe only because it was identical to the one being taken out, I didn't have to fuss with the water hookup, just a hose clamp
