what Jak51 said, call in for an offer and then decide what you want to do.
In my experience most of companies charge way too much for that little they really do. Okay, they have to pay taxes, mechanics, mortgage, etc. But not from my money. If you are just a little bit handy, and have some tools on hand, it's the best way to get to know your ride. I've seen BMW (pls forgive me) boxer machine riders, who did not know (at newer 1100/1200 models) where the sparkplugs are.
