did finally join me in my rare visit to the big local power sport dealer on the way home from coffee today.
I just wanted to see some new scooters.
They had 4 Kymco LIKE 50's and a 300, and a bike. I stood the 300 X up on the center stand to get a better look at it's profile.
I gotta say - though I never cared much for my Burgman 400's paint - the Suzuki's shape flowed better, and was more pleasing than this new large Kymco's.
The 2 "never-wax" black Xmax's looked like they were all primed and ready for a nice gloss coat of something! A shame, that.
My favorite scoot was the little Super Cub. (though I'd hunt for the blue/red/white version) What a precision looking little piece of machinery.
Oh, and I figured out that I was mistaking the 2020 LIKE's weird new headlight reflector shape
for an LED. No, it's not an LED....still a Halogen in there - just reshaped lens. Maybe produces a better result ??
And while we were having our breakfast in town - the village's most famous celeb walked by a couple of times. I think he's checking on, & maybe financing, a new mural which is underway. Anyway - the procedure is to leave him in peace. And, after getting scolded by my daughter for talking scooters with him last summer - After getting

BTW...this local dealer seemed to be down 50% of floor stock.
They had 2 hiviz MeshTex First Gear jackets for $49....if they'd had my size I'd have bought a third!
