Heated hand grips - Kymco 500ri
« on: May 04, 2021, 04:31:45 PM »
Has anyone added heated hand grips for their Kymco 500ri ?
I have a 2008 model and would like to have heated grips installed.
Any information would be helpful.

No, but I had a set retro fitted to my X-Town 300.  Best accessory yet!

I considered fitting them myself as it looked pretty straightforward, but in the end let my trusted dealership spannerman do it.

I put on the kind that velcro in place. Don't know if they're still on the market.  Don't even remember where I ordered from. I like the fact that I can take them off in a jiffy. The velcro is good and strong. No slipping issues.

And yes I went to the trouble of taking off all necessary plastic  to hide the wires.  The wrap around grips will unplug which leaves the tiny plug only barely visible when not using the grips in the warm riding season.

Oxford grips do these.
