Good advice. My bike can do 90, so there was no need to favor the slow lane. I agree about the suction cups, but they did their jobs. I've switch now to Ram mounts (waiting for my 2nd one to arrive by the end of the month), just to improve the aesthetics, The suction cups are too much hardware that mucks up the forward view.
The every 50 mile stop is also good advice, and definitely would be more fun, but I wanted to arrive at my destination in central Massachusetts before night fall, so it was a solid day of riding. You're the trip advisor I always needed, but I guess I had to learn the hard way.
