A125 spare parts & question about Dr. Pulley sliders
« on: October 22, 2010, 02:46:57 PM »
Hi,

I`ve purchased some spare parts for Agility 125. The seller is motokay1 on ebay.de.
So, belt, front pads, rear pads, air filter and shipping, all for 55 EUR. (delivery to Germany)
I think that price for the belt (15 EUR) is very competitive, all other belts are at least twice that.

Auftragspositionen
1
35416.725819
Keilriemen gezahnt Centauro KYMCO AGILITY 125,
14,99 EUR

2
35416.721155
Luftfilter Hiflo Kymco Agility 125 2006-2007,
5,99 EUR

3
35417.867580
Bremsbeläge EBC SFA Scooter vorne KYMCO AGILITY 125,
12,49 EUR

4
35416.879643
Bremsbacken EBC Grooved hinten KYMCO AGILITY 125,
16,49 EUR

5
00001
Versandkosten,
4,90 EUR

Summe
54,86 EUR

Now, I have a question.
I need to buy roller weights, so far mixture of 13 and 11 g was used instead of OEM 14g, the results were good but heavier rollers get torn apart after 6k kms.

I am looking now to buy new set of rollers, and I will buy something like 6x13 or 6x12g.

However, I see that I can get also Dr. Pulley sliders. I saw many mixed reponses on their performance, some people swear by them, others do not like it.

What weight should I buy and should I even bother, or just buy regular rollers? Is it just a fad?

Tnx.

if You buy it ill try them too..

seen test dr. pulley 12g for this scoot...promising...ill shold go with 12.5 (really 13.2 guessing)...

also variator and hole transmission have some problem with particles from belt wearing....

ive got malossi  multivar  but i cant find 20x17 dr.pulley cheaper then 35 bucks on ebay...

sorry mate cant find that again...will try later..it was a comparison on graph for agility 125 with roollers and sliders...

with malossi came 11.5g rollers, name of the kit is M5111545.

but scoot was like 50cc (much faster), so ive changed rollers to 13g to normal  (big boy)...

for 120 eur wanted a little bit more (only gap from 40-60 was now no more)...

i didnt do this change for fun, mine old variator break and i couldnt find original part in CRO...

find it!   http://www.unionmaterial.com/testreport.htm

but on other hand, who ever use km/hr insted km/h give me some little doubt.......

I'll be installing 13g weights this week probably.

I'll try to make a video (acceleration) with the current 14g setup (already have one, but just in case), and
with the 13g weights. I bought original Kymco parts.. ordered over a month ago (!). I was tempted to go
with Dr. Pulley, but that would have cost even more and I've got over 10.000km on the scoot since spring,
so I'd rather use regular rollers and replace them more often.

Kymco also makes 12,4g weights, which might be the optimum size for acceleration. I wouldn't go under that
as I'm afraid of over-revving the engine.

We could use a tachometer to see what's actually going on..

when u change rollers dont use any lubricants.

ive made mistake with that..

with 1g diff theres no change, coz theyre really 1-1,5g heavier.

14g or 13g, no noticeable/measurable change...

Do you need 4 rollers 20x17 8,5g?
I got them because someone on the forum told me they are for Agility 125.
Paid for them 15 or 20 US$, but will send them to you if you can use them.

PM me your address if you need them, I am looking at them right now. :)

Roll them around the room once in a while or they'll go bad.  :P
