Hello new friends!

I stumbled across this forum while looking for information on new mirrors.  So glad I did!
I'm Abby, single mom to 5 yr old Wyatt.
I purchased a 2013 Kymco Like 200i with a custom sidecar late last year.  We're finally up and running and loving every minute of it!

Can't wait to get to know all of you!

Abby

@Abby, welcome to this forum. Here you are at home with your LIKE.
Well, you made it at once, to have a sidecar.
I did have to have two of them. The blue LX is a 2013 model too.
Happy and safe scootering, Ruffus

Very nice set-up how does it handle with the side-car?

I had a sport bike (Yamaha 400) many moons ago before I was a mom.  I also come from a motorcycle family.
I knew I wanted something fun that my son and I could enjoy.  We live "in town" so we can cruise about.
It's custom so there are always issues and I don't think it's Freeway legal
We visit Gramma and Grampa who live backroads away.  There is about a 1/4 mile span of Hwy (55mph) riding and we do it when it's not busy.  I never go above 50.  Precious Cargo!

Well Abby, that's about the coolest thing I've ever seen on our forum!
Well done you!
You and I own the same scooter, same year. Mine from new.
If you have time - some photos of how your rig is connected to your LIKE would be very interesting.
Any recent issues with your LIKE?
How many miles?
Anyway, welcome to the forum and thanks for the pic.
Your co-pilot looks eager - and competent 😊
Ride safe you two!

You are SO welcome here! What an entrance! Side car with precious passenger! We have not had to my recollection a doll to fuss over since Nireen from Canada! Your young son has the neatest Mom, ever!

You have at your service a greasy band of Like technicians should you ever need. Like models being what they are rarely need much beyond routine loving care anyway.

Welcome!

Wow!  What a welcome - thank you!  I will be sure to get some more pics and info on the custom sidecar set up.  Raising a 5 year old doesn't always allow for quick reply....

We have been enjoying all our adventures.  Wyatt is certainly the talk of his school friends when he rolls out in the coolest way!  He also waves at random strangers like he's the Grand Marshall of the parade.   ;D
