It gives guests,  members and hidden on line. What is a hidden user?

That refers to members who have UNCHECKED the setting to "Show others my online status" in their Profile/Account Settings. Unchecking this setting will hide that members status from others. Checking that setting is the default and allows others to see a members online status.
