Rianna , almost any shop -auto , small engine , m/c will have a bearing puller and would probably not charge much to pull a couple of bearings if you brought them the wheel . Might be worth a couple of calls .

Well, broke the top of the plastic off of one screwdriver.  ::)

I'm gettin' nowhere fast. The largest socket I have is a 21mm, but I don't know if it will fit. I gotta find me a skinnier screwdriver or something.

Thanks for all the tips.

Biggest problem is...come payday...I can't afford tools AND parts.

Thanks, juice. I think there's a tire shop a few miles away. Might have to look up the name of the place if I need to do that.

Pedro, I will check out Autozone's loan-a-tool program, see if bearing puller is on the list! That would be great!!

...have somebody hold the wheel down, on a flat surface...

..insert 2-jawed..(small i.d. inner race of bearing) into the bearing's hole (inner race)...adjust the collet so that arms spread out as far as they can and are snug, with very little free play...

..pull upward briskly, perpendicular to the plane of the bearing..."straight up"!!!

..the bearing will "pop" out like magic....

..itsa true story!!

Sounds easy enough.

So which one of those pullers is the one that will work??

Or should I just proudly carry my tire with me on the two buses to the Autozone store and ask the fella behind the counter for his suggestion?  ;D

Don't break all your new tools in one day!

Good luck

Yeah, those were loaner tools. I don't have the money to buy one. I give up for tonight. Tomorrow is another day.

Thanks, though!! :)

Look at the part # from harbor freight . You need a small inside diameter puller like the one I referenced .
