Watched England vs Denmark yesterday.
My daughter was the varsity goal keeper in high school....so she really felt for the Danish keeper on that PK!

World soccer fans are a little frightening actually......
Seriously frightening...and not just in England.
I remember the city of Boston when the Sox finally broke the curse, but their reaction pales when compared to soccer fans.

I see soccer on the Spanish channel a lot but don't know Spanish.  On our regular stations they broadcast a SAP (secondary audio program). Why doesn’t the Spanish stations broadcast a SAP in english?

Hmmmmm...for some reason I have no option to post freely. I can only comment if I choose "quote". Oh, well.

Anyway, I am a HUGE "football" fan. Ever since I saw Pele play in his very last game, where he played on 1 team in the 1st half (NY Cosmos) and the opponents (his former team) in the 2nd half! And he scored for BOTH teams! Great player EVER.

I'm sitting in front of the TV now waiting for the soccer game.

For me it's like this:
1) USL Championship (Phoenix Rising is my team, I watch at least 3-4 other teams, also)
2) NWSL (North Carolina Courage - best womens team - I'd put them up against a mens team ANY day, I watch at least 3-4 other teams, too)
3) MLS (No real favorite, but I like Columbus Crew, Seattle Sounders, LAFC & InterMiami)

I watch more soccer than anything! Hahahaha! My wife HATES it when I'm kicking the ball in the house!

Anyway..gotta go...New Mexico (USL Championship) game is starting!

Full disclosure Ruffus, I've only ever been to one football match in my life - and that was for business!  I can't claim to follow the game, but I will be watching tomorrow night, be unpatriotic not to!
