About 3,500 miles later I installed a tachometer.
I did the math today after noticing that the tach just rolled over 700 engine operating hours.
During the 700 hours the engine was running the scooter averaged just under 20 MPH*.
I think the max I've seen is 7,800 rpm's during these past 9 years of riding, year around.
Two days ago I touched 7,200.
