Bought new suit today for rain and colder times, Goes also (designed) for fishing also wintertime. Have no idea about the quality of the suit, but if normal or good, will do next five years easily when scootering around.

At that price, I would be surprised if it's not up to the mark!  Why not give us a test report after you've seen some foul weather?

I see a 5000mm rating on it - nice. Personally my jacket is 20,000mm and protects me from heavy storms but it costs much more for less material and features.

When I bought this 5000 mm waterproof suit, I compared waterproofness to my tent, that kept me dry for 12 hours basic, partly bit heavy, rain. Top 2000 mm floor 5000 mm month old tent did the job, so I thought that will be enough for the suit.
At least today one hours drive in the basic rain, again, picking up a helmet for colder times drive, i was dry and warm with very light underwear, + 12 c degrees a bit windy as autums does.
Wondering how long, tent and suit, will last to keep water out, hopefully many years.
With 20 000 mm waterproof you can climb mount everest IMO, excellent choice sir.

Don't see such ratings here in the UK.  A useful additional way of differentiating between choices on offer!

Lol KK.  My MO is to leave home equipped for the worst so that if it does start while I'm out I can at least don waterproofs and get home relatively dry, BUT I'll only leave home in the wet if the journey is unavoidable and the OH has already taken the car!

Still one of my favorite scooter moments was one summer afternoon, commuting home from work on my LIKE200ILX.
Very hot, very humid and clouds building - still thought I'd take the long way home (enjoying the scooter).
Stopped in heavy traffic at a long light - it began to bucket down. No wind, just sitting under a waterfall kind of a downpour.
To my left was a kindergarten school passenger van full of hysterically laughing toddlers. Pointing at me and pounding on the windows.  I was probably now responsible for 20% of them  wetting their pants as they danced in their seats.
I, playing it cool as I sat there soaked....refused to look at them, but I was grinning like a fool in my helmet.
Good times.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Yeah I reckon we've all got some wet ride stories - maybe not as amusing as that one though Stig.
