Kymco AK 550 - Dipstick
« on: August 08, 2021, 09:06:06 PM »
If anyone comes across a replacement dipstick let me know. I was teaching one how to check your oil and asked them (stupidly on my part). To put back in the dipstick. Which they did... But they cross threaded the plastic threads. Again 100% my fault for not fully watching them and warning them about thread alignment.

I've ordered a $$$ aftermarket one from TW. But that's going to take some time and I'd like to get back on the road sooner rather than later.

Nifty ones seen on ebay, alibaba & banggood.

Threads look similar to some garden equipment engines...
