first 1000 miles

my new Kymco 200 just turned 1000 miles so far, very good. I like the scooter and the way it handles very much. used to have a honda pcx150 that I sold for this one. really wanted the step through design and it has not disappointed. hoping to get more riding time in the fall and will keep you posted. just finished a 70 mile ride tonight and when I filled up, turned 100 miles. haven't checked the fuel mileage yet but I suspect it's not a good as the Honda at 100mpg but I bet it does well

It's not that much more of consumption, so take it like a good meal or beautiful glass of wine in good company...

Glad you like your scooter.
A Like200i will return @20-30% fewer miles per gallon than the very well engineered Honda system.
It's not an insignificant loss, but most of us just accept the mpg's in trade for the Kymco's simplicity and reliability.

I agree about the fuel mileage, I really just like the scooter. May we have many miles together. 2 more years to retirement and hoping to do some serious touring!
