Refresh on online parts / available parts dealers
« on: September 20, 2021, 02:06:31 AM »
Hi All! I just picked up a new-to-me 2016 Like 200i with 2k miles on, and I'm loving it so far.
I'm in Minnesota. I'm calling around to all the dealers listed on Kymco's site and they're all denying being official parts distributors for Kymco, and tell me that they used to be.

While loading up my new purchase I managed to bungle the left passenger grab rail/fairing plastic before I fully understood where a ratchet strap should go.
I can pick one up from across the pond for 12 euro.. but then another $50 to ship it here.
I see an old thread where Stig and go have listed places that they're bought parts on line in the past, but all those links seem to be dead.
I did find Solano Cycle, but due to the distance, shipping is a little steep.
Are there others? Should I keep calling dealers until I find one that will order parts from Kymco for me?

Thanks in advance for your help!

@bddimmons2,
try to get a used one from ebay, or any other platforms. This item is most wanted, even here in Italy only sparsely seen used.  So most of the time LIKEs here are without.Had to buy four pieces for my two Likes á €37,- from local dealer.
Happy and safe scootering, Ruffus

If you just need that left grab rail....you should have good luck fining one on ebay or from the dealer in Florida. Looks like if you need the whole carrier rack you are out of luck at this time. eBay has a broken one for $200. Dealer not showing one in stock.

Some folks here are just ordering parts from their local Kymco scooter/ATV seller. I thought Minn. was one of the better States for scooter dealers?

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Scooterville, in Minneapolis, still shows as a Kymco dealer on their website...although they don't list any new Kymcos in stock.

This is one of those cases that if you can find the part pony up for the shipping or you may wait a long long time.
In parts 200S and Grand Vista and my motorcycles 2 CS BMW'S and one GS BMW.

Sold-32 Kymco scooters of various sizes this summer.
