I was just curious of a ballpark figure for surveying 7.5 acres of land?
depends, around here, anywhere between $2500 and $25000, lot of variables, maybe less in your area, land was originally divided with the rectangular coordinate system, and parcels were created in the latter half of the 19th century. Here in colonial states, it's metes & bounds I have put $15k of deed research back to the mid-late 1600s on a 1 acre lot that field work & drafting & final stakeout was less than $1k
on average though, a simple boundary, no topography, wetlands or soil mapping, would run between $3k and $5k for a 7½ acre parcel
like any other profession or trade, it cost $ to pay employees a decent wage, I would expect hourly rates to cover payroll & operating expense to be $100-$150/ man hr for the most part, if you start getting into expert court testimony for a boundary dispute, expect that to go UP, or representation at land use boards
