The Tire Age Myth, debunked
« on: November 01, 2021, 02:32:41 PM »
I'm not surprised here....but for yrs I've tried to keep that under my Red Sox hat.

Word of mouth and forum opinions are, often, so - just that  :)

Then there's this red-faced rider to the poor guy at the parts counter: "This supposedly new tire is date-stamped almost 3 years ago!"

You certainly don't have to trust RevZilla, but after dealing with them for years - I do.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Very interesting Stig and frankly, I’m not too surprised. Nice to have it confirmed though.

But-----ride a lot, do your own tire work and buy fresh tires---you should then always be on fresh rubber.
