Kansas Kymco messaged me yesterday saying his stroke was pretty serious. He's in a rehab facility and is looking for one closer to home. He doesn't think he will back on 2 wheels again, due to balance issues.

The good news is that he retains his mind and his sense of humor!  Wishing you a well, Kansas Kymco. We'll be waiting for your return to the forum.

For what it’s worth,  I started taking an Asprin dayly many years ago - hoping it will help avoiding a possible stroke during my lifetime.

And NB: watch your blood pressure - it's easy to manage.  And Godspeed to Kansas Kymco!

Hang in there Bud. Now that I've recovered from my heart attack, I feel far better than ever. You will too.

I'm not a prayin man, but I will have thoughts for sure, I has a scare about 5 years ago, with a TIA I only lost my speech, other than that no loss of motion, they kept me in overnite, and when I woke up in the morning, I could talk again then as they were writing up release papers that afternoon, I had a second TIA.   I only lost speech, and was still able to communicate with a pencil & paper. Happens so suddenly, scary

an update from Kansas Kymco..he's loking for a rehab facility closer to his home and he only has his cell phone with him, not his tablet, so posting here will have to wait until he gets his tablet back.  I don't disagree with him, trying to type on a phone can be frustrating.

We're all pulling for you, KK!

Update, I had a  moderately severe hemorrhagic stroke. I spent 30 days in rehab just to get my balance to sit up without falling over. I have transferred to McPherson for rehab. My left arm and left leg are not functional.   I do have some slight movement in my left leg.

I don't wish this on my worst enemy.

My scooter  and motorcycle collection will be on consignment at Dan's cycle. I don't think I'll have the balance to ride again.

If/when I recover I will purchase a  UTV to ride the trails in Northern Minnesota.

I guess I can serve as a bad example  if you don't stay on top of your blood pressure medication.

Take care and thanks for the well wishes, stay safe and the rubber side down.

In parts 200S and Grand Vista and my motorcycles 2 CS BMW'S and one GS BMW.

Sold-32 Kymco scooters of various sizes this summer.

Good to read that you're well enough to post here and on the road to recovery if at least partly to mostly.
