Nice Little Fall Ride.
« on: November 10, 2021, 03:23:07 AM »
For the first time in around 3 years my wife wanted to go for a ride.  It was a nice fall day with temperatures in the low 70s.

Thanks.  I do take it easy with her on the back.  It didn't used to be that way.  When we were young I used to ride pretty fast with her on the back and she didn't complain.

Here's a pic of us riding the dragon around 5 years ago.

Great pics Klav, thanks for posting.  Now you mention it, it's been about 12 months since I got my wife on the back of the scooter...

"back in the day" my wife would ride with me a lot.  Then she even learned to ride herself and had a few bikes.  Around 15 years ago she decided to stop riding but still rode as a passenger.  Then she stopped riding even as a passenger but a couple of weeks ago she had a dream in which we were riding together and she told me she wanted to start riding with me again.  We had a fun ride but I'll have to see how long her desire to ride lasts.

Here's a few old pics:

Hi Win - nice to see the pics of Mrs K!  Hopefully she will get the scooter bug and you can share more adventures together.

I'm always pleased to have Mrs V lead me on our outings, doesn't hurt my manhood at all.  Sometimes I have a hard time keeping up with her!

Bikes are all put away now, and snow has made it's appearance.  Gotta check on the parts status for the Bet & Win - been three months and have heard nothing about the body parts that are on order.  New parts are cheaper than having the scarred up ones repaired.  Hopefully they show up before spring!

Dan, you are lucky to have a wife who also likes to ride.  5 years ago Debbi and I did an Alaska Cruise and we did a scooter tour in one of the ports.  Debbi rode a Ruckus during that tour and really enjoyed it.  At the time she said she really enjoyed it and should do some more scooter riding when we got back home.  She promptly forgot about that when we got home and has ridden a bike herself since.
