the different Stabil formulations
« on: December 02, 2021, 07:15:36 PM »
I actually wasn't aware of the differences between the various Stabil (fuel stabilizer) formulations so I looked it up..

https://www.goldeagle.com/tips-tools/what-are-the-differences-among-sta-bil-products/

Per the Sta-bil website:

Stabil - red label product,  for long term storage up to 24 months

Stabil 360 is for regular use, has extra corrosion protector and fuel system cleaner. Intended for short term storage or infrequent use.

Stabil Marine 360, for regular use, has higher levels of corrosion protection  than regular Stabil 360. Protects up to 12 months.

So now you know!

Thanks hawk, good to know.
This product isn't really too much popular here in EU. Does not work on a 3-cyl motor, that's why,
a shame......😊.

Oh, GREAT! Just my luck* having recently bought a Mitsubishi Mirage that has a 3-cylinder engine! Woe is me!

I ride year around using only stations selling Top Tier fuels and never need any Sta-Bil.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

I dose all my bikes (and outdoor power equipment) with Stabil Marine 360 every time I fill up either the tank or the gas can. I, unfortunately don't ride year round and also have to deal with carbs. My scoots or motorcycle can sit for a few weeks at a time between rides..or longer.
