I like it - especially since it is narrated!

Now you need to make some instructional videos - I suggest starting with one about changing carb jets!

Good to know.

Haven't seen them, but can't say I've really looked yet.

Carb jets will be the next thing I ponder after I get the variator sorted out.

...it's just, disconnect the carb's fuel tube..drain the carb's fuel.... or not, if you learn how to handle it so it don't leak..

..remove the carb..

..remove the bowl..remove the main jet, replace or drill..then re-install everything in the opposite order..

..if you drained the bowl, you'll probly need to suck that vacuum tube that goes to your pet cock...to open it and fill you carb's bowl...

..then do plug chops....

Okay, so let me ask you this:

When I was browsing at 'jetrus.com', I noticed that main jets come in different series based on their length, head diameter, and thread diameter.

i.e.
OVERALL LENGTH = 8.5 mm
SHAFT DIAMETER = 5.5 mm
DIAMETER OF THREAD = 6.9 mm

What size does the guilty 50 use?

I figure since they have flat rate shipping, I might as well order a variety of jet sizes.

..there are a cpl of different carburetors used on the a50...

..but i seem to remember that the jets-r-us ..jets..do indeed fit the vast majotiry of a50 carbs...

..a thread gauge and calipers would tell you for sure, but i still think those JRUs do work...thread-wise...

I do happen to own calipers so that's a good start!

The cold weather has made an appearance this week, so some temps around freezing in the morning so the idea of working outside taking stuff apart less than appealing right now.

Yep,

Had to give the scoot a good warmup this morning.

Should be right around 31 or 32 tomorrow morning, time to pack the balaclava in case I need to protect my ruggedly handsome features from the wind...

If I had to ride that far in the cold I would be wearing it too!

Maybe I'll just grow a beard to keep my face warm.
