Geez, horrible sound.
Some nice looking scooters.
Wonder if any will come with a decent set of tires?

It depends ! I've seen some Downtown 350 on Metzeller from factory, very good tires, and some on Kenda (THAT is a sh**ty tire).
Mine came with Kenda...  >:( Most of them are on bad tires, I guess they had a supplier problem when they went to Metzeller for a short while.
If everything's under control, you're not going fast enough !

Yep, Kenda seem to be their rubber of choice Henry and I concur they’re sh**ty!

Let me chime in for tires.
Bought lately two METZELER tires for my Yager 200i on internet from a German seller. Front 130/70/12, rear 140/70/12.

Both were produced 2020. Went with both to my scooter shop to have them changed and this METZELER mounted and balanced. It came out that, both rubbers had a vertical inbalance of appr. five to seven millimeters, which we were not able to equalize. They litterally jumped on this balancer. Seemed to be a fabrication failure.

Laterally they ran perfectely. The tire- guy checked both rims for imbalance, nothing. So I ended up to take a pair of CityGrips from this shop, and to dispose both brandnew METZELERs.

My lesson learned is now, buy tires where they mount them. So you can easily complain and claim immedeately a change.

Never heard that before Ruffus are you sure they weren’t counterfeit?…. As you say, always safest to buy & fit at the same shop with motorcycle tyres. City Grip are A1 tyres though, good choice.

@Neil yes, they looked at second look suspicious, those "year stamp" was kind of sloppy. But I thought to save, as it came out, well, I payed double.

@Neil yes, one could say so.😅You always pay double if you think of making a bargain. I didn't even try to reach the seller, not to make a complete fool of me.
