Road markings make a big difference in the dark!
« on: December 28, 2021, 12:35:32 AM »
This is the same section of road.....after paving and then after painting!

The white edge lines are a big help on my rainy or foggy night rides into town for coffee!

Gotta have really good headlights riding a road not marked in the dark. Especially black top roads with no markings.

I don't have a problem going slower, I won't outride/drive my lights. I prefer dark unlit backroads with less or no traffic,

and when it's snowing, any markings are covered

A big improvement. A lot of our road markings could do with repainting they’re so worn!  Councils saving money though 🙁

And when it's raining.

Having ridden in some torrential downpours in my time, I agree!  Best avoided if you can, although it certainly extends the riding skills.

Yes they are, but Stig's too modest to point that out!
