Yeah, in the winter I go in stores wearing my helmet. (McDonald's, Tim Horton's, Tom's grocery...I'm not easily embarrassed, sadly for my daughter)
When I rode into town well before sunrise - Channel 7 was shooting a story about the village across from my Group W bench.
Friendly lady reporter and camera-man.
"Whatcha doing?" we asked each other.
She laughed, "You come
how far at this hour for Dino's coffee?!"
Then she asked if I would mind being "on air".
I said, "no thank you, I might still be wanted somewhere. Just teasing, but thanks for asking."
I don't consider myself part of this village's "local color", just a visitor.
Before they left she told me to "enjoy your coffee!"
Fellow villager told me not 1/2 an hour after this that he saw it live on Channel 7.
