Switching from 12 to 14" wheels on a a 125
« on: November 05, 2010, 03:13:44 AM »
Hi everyone I am super new to the scoot world, Like 2 days old. I picked up a 07 Agility 125 for 6hun. My question is, is there any way possible to switch my 12" rims to 14"?

Well, this was almost like an impulse buy.
Couldn't pass up this deal. I had never ridden a scooter before
So I didn't how they handled, little wheels kinda unstable.
Not really lookin to drop 3000 on new ride, so I figure up the size on
The ride I have already.

upgrade will cost kinda like difference by selling and buying r16...

need longer forx and can be problem with handling...different size/height of tires is killing...

advice, dont try it...

custum bikes are for weekend drive alongside, scoot are not...

@ marioG

First off I wanna thank you for your advice. Being that I'm a noob  on thi
Scoot game, I will, be taking your advice and leave it be.
Now, maybe you can point in the right direction with some upgrades.
The ride is stock right now and I'm cool with the speed. What I'm looking for
Is a lil more torque.

im a noob too...

we are here to help each other....not to make same mistakes...maybe different...lol

dont know how to upgrade this gy6...

1) both new tires - use brand, not cheap..dont wait for this upgrade
2) try to mess with rollers weight - or buy multivar

and maybe:

- new ignition coil - original part is crap
- change front light with white color
- remove mufler at exhaust
- always use mineral oil 10w40 sae

and maybe 2:

- front dampers can be stiffer - repair shop
- check all screws - tent too get lose by time
- never left it alone longer than few days at winter -drive it

anybody have some ideas too?
