Has anyone changed out the standard bulb holders for led ones if so what size thread?

if you're going to add led turn signal bulbs you'll need to change your flasher relay to an led flasher relay.
Not positive about yours but on my scoot the rear bulbs are BAU15S. They don't have threads but rather pins on the bulb socket. You need to make sure the pins on your existing bulb match up with the pin placement on your new bulbs.

I haave converted mine, You will need an LED flasher relay and a resistor to splice into the turn signal bulb on the instrument cluster, Without this resistor the turn signals will act as 4 way hazards.
