Guy just sold his pristine Burgman for a 550
« on: January 30, 2022, 05:30:49 PM »
'06 - 44K miles - new belt, etc., etc., fully serviced. He asked and quickly rec'd $750 for his "show-room" clean Burgman 400. All the accessories are Suzuki. Probably could have gotten a lot more for it. A lot.
Ordered a '22 550.

When I read the title I was thinking "That's old news since I did that last November!" but then I read the post.

ONLY $750!!!
He must have decided he REALLY didn't like the Burgman any more. That's just silly cheap. Not surprised he sold it fast. Anyone would be a fool not to grab that one at that price. He could have tacked on another $1000 making it $1750 and still sold it fast. TRADE-IN value at the dealer would have been right around $2000... or should have been that.

But at least he upgraded well. Did he get the Deep Matte Blue AK 550?  ;D

Nope.
He loved the Burgman - had nothing but praise for it. I think he rode it more than his other scooters.
Just one of those guys who could pay cash for the new Burgman - and now for the new 550.
Moved it on for someone else to enjoy.
I laughed when some said - he was too far away....
I pointed out that my Burgman was trucked 2,400+ miles for $650.....and even all of that would still make this a good buy.
