Kymco 300i 300 cm3, 2011
« on: March 16, 2022, 12:50:57 PM »
am thinking about buying this bike, it has already passed almost 50k kilomometers, its in good condition but the owner didn't ride it awhile and the battery was dead so when they tried to start it the yellow motor warning light also came on, he said it just needs to be reset, so, based on you experienced kymco bike owners out there, is this a smart buy for 1700 euros? let me know what you think

Bring a battery with you to the next visit.
See if it starts and runs OK.
Does he have service records for it?
Price for this 11 yr old scooter seems a little high, with 50K klicks on it....see if he will move?

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

@mitviz, depends how much you would like to have THIS scoot and where in Europe you are located at.
For Germany, Austria, France this price would be around €500,- too high, for Italy and Spain about €700,- too steep, for here are plenty of scoots available.

They are in all conditions, less kms, with valid MOT stickers and in good shape without technical flaws in stock.

Count around €200,-  for change of ownership too
