You can go to any local MC shop and get a HiFlo Filter #HF147 (This is the filter that is OEM Kymco). Or, at a Kymco dealer you can get a 1541A-LBA2-E00

I found an ihterchange on the internet and got a Wix or Purolator spin-on from Amazon.

Be carefull on cross referencing, I have been burned before as the threads on the oil filter may be slightly different.  The Kymco uses a finer thread than most others,  I bought somevthat were supposed to match but would not stay tight.  Went back to the "Hi Flo" and never a problem.  The filter tightened by hand but after a short while running it would leak, tightened it up again and a short time later leaked again.. Tightened it extra tight andvthe threads stripped out and I had a filter in my hand !!!  Glad it didnt come off while riding !!

I would be leery, when I went to the WIX website, and put my 450i in as a vehicle, all the filters came up as Not Available, and I found that same cross reference as you did

Tomorrow I will take the seats out and the console cover off (emphasizing what great lengths I will go through for you guys!) and get the brand and number off that filter on my UXV500i. Not have had any of them work loose....yet. The filter on the Toro Kohler engine does have smaller thread diameter for 3/4-16 so interchanges WILL NOT WORK! Gotta use OEM Kohler filters.

Tomorrow..

You are correct...a few years back I pickedvupva fram filter for my Kohler lawn mower engine ( the factory filters were gone) so I crossreferenced a fram.  After the third time mowing, my grandaughter was earning some extra money by mowing my lot. About halfvway thru it started smoking so she rode it back to the barn.  Didnt make it, tied up about 30 ft from the doors.  Filter came off and all the oil pumped out. 3 year old CubCadet zero turn that cost 5k.  Kohler said no warranty as it was not a factory filter no coverage and fram refused any coverage becausevthe filter did not specify for a Kohler engine!!!  I will never use a cross reference chart again nor will I ever buy a Fram filter again!!!!  My 450i uses the hiflo oil filters, cant remember the number, but I get 3 filters shipped to me for 12 bucks on ebay. Will never use anything but what came on the engine!!

I do NOT blame you! We had several Subaru cars and the factory spin on filters at the dealer were over 8 bucks a pop at the dealer. Purolaror made the Subie filters so I used them at 3 bucks...same filter. Just like HiFlo for Kymco..

You stick with what you KNOW works!
