750 cc's of Hondas
« on: April 21, 2022, 02:29:39 PM »

cleaning out some old files from the PC and came across this photo from 2015.
We're both still riding Hondas ....and wearing armored ICON leather jackets*.
NSS300 Forza scooter and son's CB500X adventure bike.

(279 cc + 471 cc = 750)

Oh yes - see his mirrors - and my crappy extenders? One day I noticed his mirrors and - while he was at work - I swapped 'em onto my Forza. Bingo!! I could see behind me and they looked dead stock. That extra stem length made all the difference!
Bought myself a pair of them.....and replaced his.
Stig

*gear: gloves off to operate the camera; we both went to armored pants and boots soon after this pic.
He has an R6 now - and I've been thru a few loves me self  :)
I loved tinkering with his Honda - the quality of it was evident throughout....I probably should have bought it!

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Ouch!....y e s....
You know....I'd even purchased a (nearly) full set of shims to do the valves on that thing.. (guy on ebay'd only used rwo)
Sure did like washing and waxing that scooter - and walking up to it in the morning!
And riding it.
I keep looking at used ones on cycletrader......
